Payment

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The remaining 80% balance is due exactly 7 days before your scheduled arrival date. Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, electronic bank transfer or cash.

Check-in, check-out and occupancy

Standard check-in is between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. As a boutique property without a 24-hour reception, arrivals outside these hours must be arranged with management in advance. Cottages are strictly for the use of registered, paying guests only. Parties, unauthorised commercial gatherings and overnight visitors exceeding the maximum cottage occupancy are not permitted.

Fireplace and wood use

A complimentary starter supply of firewood, kindling and matches is provided daily during the cooler months. To protect our historic stone chimneys and ensure safety, please burn only the provided wood. Additional bundles of firewood can be purchased from management for $15 per bundle. No open outdoor fires, campfires or personal fire pits are permitted anywhere on our two-acre historic grounds.

Historic property care and damage

Wagner's Cottages is a heritage-listed estate. We ask that you treat the buildings, antique furnishings and gardens with the utmost care. Guests are fully liable for any damage, breakages or deep stains caused during their stay. Please report accidental spills to management immediately so we can use specialist heritage cleaning methods. The cost of professional restoration or replacement will be charged to the credit card on file.

Smoke-free and pets

All indoor spaces are 100% smoke-free and vape-free. A $250 specialised deodorising fee applies if smoking occurs inside a cottage. To protect local wildlife and maintain our gardens, pets are not permitted on the property at any time.

Recycling

In an effort to assist our environment we have placed recycling bins opposite our office; otherwise please leave your recycling for us to collect after your departure. The estate operates an enviro-cycle waste water system, so please use the cleaning products we supply as they are fully biodegradable and compatible with our water recycling requirements.
